چکیده
Aim. To study the trends and to assess longterm incidence of ixodid tick-borne borreliosis (ITB) Siberian tick typhus (STT) in Eastern Transbaikalia for improvement preventive measures. Materials Methods. We carried out a retrospective analysis ITB STT different districts during 2003–2021. Epidemic were characterised using linear regression equations. Results. Average annual 2003–2021 was 4 cases per 100,000 population. Analysis two periods (2003–2012 2013– 2021) showed an increase 2013–2021 (5.1 ± 0.79 population) as compared 2003–2012 (2.6 0.73 population, p < 0.05). Within period, there has been statistically insignificant trend towards decreasing incidence. The lower than that no significant change this scenario (average 2003– 2021 2.1 0.37 population). Between 2012 2021, particular before 2017, reduced 2012–2021 1.5 0.43 epidemiological risk varied across distinct territories Transbaikalia. Conclusion. In order prevent diseases, acaricide treatments should be regularly out. Amounts such interventions determined depending on human infection.

Epidemiology of Tick-Borne Borreliosis in Morocco
BACKGROUND The presence in Morocco of Argasid ticks of the Ornithodoros erraticus complex, the vector of tick-borne relapsing fever (TBRF) in North Africa, has been known since 1919, but the disease is rarely diagnosed and few epidemiological data are available. METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FINDINGS Between 2006 and 2011, we investigated the presence of Ornithodoros ticks in rodent burrows in 34 sit...
متن کاملTick-Borne Relapsing Fever Borreliosis, Rural Senegal
Detecting spirochetes remains challenging in cases of African tick-borne relapsing fever. Using real-time PCR specific for the 16S rRNA Borrelia gene, we found 27 (13%) of 206 samples from febrile patients in rural Senegal to be positive, whereas thick blood smear examinations conducted at dispensaries identified only 4 (2%) as positive.

Our findings indicate a ...
